How to Setup Microsoft Publisher 2021 (LTSC)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please install Publisher 2021 first. As per Microsoft Office installation rules, single Office apps must be installed first. Please reinstall if you have Office 365 or another version of Microsoft Office.

This is a very smooth process, and you won't lose any existing files; they will open as normal.

 
Step 1: Download, Install & Activate Microsoft Publisher 2021

  • Download 32/64 bit: Please click the link below or copy and paste it into your browser window to download.

  • Download from this link if you already have Office 365 installed; however, Publisher apps must be removed. Otherwise, uninstall Office 365 (from the Control Panel / Uninstall a program list) and install Publisher 2021 first, then reinstall Office 365, which automatically drops Publisher.
  • Customize App Exclusions: If you want to keep your existing Microsoft 365 apps intact, you can modify the installation on your device. Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, select Microsoft 365 Apps, and click Modify. Choose Add or Remove Features, uncheck Publisher, and click Continue. Once Publisher is removed from the 365 package, try installing Publisher 2021 again

  • Extract the downloaded file: Right-click on the downloaded file and select Extract All or see image below. And then double-click the folder to open it.

  • Double-click on the 32/64-bit installation folder. Please note that most of the modern machines are 64-bit systems; therefore, double-click the 64-bit folder.

  • Double-click on the start.bat file and wait till the installation is completed.

  • Open any Microsoft application, such as Microsoft Word or Excel, and click File, then Account. Click the "Change Product Key" link, copy and paste the key you received in the key delivery email into the box, and click Activate. After that reopen the application again, select File, then Account, and verify its activation. Finally, restart your machine if possible
